EFFECTIVE — 10 MAY 2026

Every Rizen Patronage — Press Patron, Founding Member, Patron, and Patron of the Press — carries a 30-day refund window from the date of purchase. Inside the window, the refund is one click: the receipt email you receive at checkout contains a personal refund link that processes the full amount back to the card on file.

Consumers in the EU/EEA and UK: in addition to our 30-day window, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and equivalent UK legislation, without giving any reason. Use the same one-click refund link, or write to press@rizenhq.com.

How to refund

  1. Open the receipt email titled “Welcome to [your tier] — Rizen Press.”
  2. Click the one-click refund link in that email.
  3. Confirm the email associated with your purchase. We process the refund through Stripe — funds typically reach your card or bank within 5–10 business days.

Lost the email?

Visit https://rizenhq.com/patrons/refund and enter the email you used at checkout. We’ll send the refund link again. If you can’t reach the email account either, write to press@rizenhq.comand we’ll process the refund manually.

After 30 days

After the refund window closes, all sales are final. We don’t prorate by elapsed time or by which apps have shipped — the patronage funds the development of the whole suite, and the perks are tied to your seat regardless of when each app reaches you.

If something has gone genuinely wrong outside the 30-day window — duplicate charge, fraud, billing dispute — write to press@rizenhq.comand we’ll do our best.

When a refund is processed

  • Your patronage is closed; tier-specific perks (badge, discounts, alpha access) are revoked.
  • For Tier IV (Patron of the Press): your seat is returned to the pool and the colophon entry is removed.
  • Stripe’s standard refund timing applies — typically 5–10 business days to the original card.
